The City of Sauk Centre is located in Stearns County, west-central Minnesota. The City is located along Interstate 94 and is approximately 100 miles northwest of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, approximately 45 miles from St. Cloud, and 24 miles from Alexandria.

What you will eat:

We will be having an open buffet hog roast.

We will be providing keg beer, soda, and water. If you would like to have mixed drinks please feel free to bring your own bottle.

Two Weeks

We have been married for two weeks already. We can't believe the major parts of the planning are done and we are officially married. What a wonderful life.

I wanted to put the stuff from our website on here so I can get rid of our website, but keep the information.

About Us:

Chrissy is currently working at Minnesota Life College as the Autism specialist. www.mnlifecollege.org

Chrissy has one sister and two brothers. Cathie Rainier married to Ed, they have two children Roxxie & Morgan, Charlie Theis married to Jody, they have two children Calvin & Sophia, and Curtis Theis married to Angela Christen they have three children Ashland, Maximus, & Saywer

Chrissy is the proud daughter of Fred and Nancy Theis of Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

How we met:
Josh and Chrissy met at Decoy's Bar in Hopkins Minnesota, August 17th 2007. Chrissy was having girl's night with her friend Tara, Josh and his buddy Curt asked them if they wanted to play darts, we said yes, and the rest is history...

The Proposal:
8/28/2009

Josh and I were talking about what our future holds and Josh said, I love you why don't we get married. Of course I said yes.

We then planned a very romantic elopement in Gooseberry Falls, Minnesota for October 23, 2009.

However, this just did not sit right with us, so we talked about it and decided that we really wanted was both of our families at our wedding.

Thus, the small family wedding on February 13, 2010 and BIG reception May 1, 2010.

The Wedding:

We will be have the ceremony at Arneson Acres Park in the Terrace Room,in Edina MN. We will then be eating dinner in the same building immediately following the ceremony.
