We celebrated Pyper's first birthday in true Fourth of July style. Luckily we did an independence themed Gala a few years back, so we had lots of Red White and Blue decorations that we borrowed for the day. It was a beautiful day, and we were so excited to have everyone that was able to make it there.

Friday Night my parents came down, and picked up my uncle Tom from the airport.
We loved having them for the weekend

This last weekend we celebrated Bo's birthday again with the Theis side of the family, and Bo shared her birthday celebration with her cousin Calvin.
We started our day together at Fuddruckers celebrating the upcoming addition to the family. (It has been a tradition of my parents to take us all out to eat together with every new addition to the family)
After lunch we headed over to Edinborough Park so the kids could play in the indoor playground.
Her big cousins were so protective and loved taking her around

Then after presents we headed to the park down the street for some sledding time.

Bo's so lucky she got to have see both sides of her family for her birthday, and get sang to twice
We decided to have Bo's first birthday this weekend, and we enjoyed having everyone that could make it, and missed everyone that couldn't.
We decided to go with the Hungry Caterpillar theme I got all of my great idea's from Pintrest. I attempted to do many of the idea's, some were revamped, and some I just said, I just don't have time for that. There are some I just forgot about and some I wish I didn't forget about. I really wish I would have remembered to do this one (which I think I might still ask everyone to do, so look forward to an e-mail from us.)
We started the party with snacks that hungry caterpillar ate.
1 apple, 2 pears, 3 plums, 4 strawberries, 5 oranges a piece of chocolate cake, an ice cream cone, a pickle, a slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon one nice green leaf
Then we decided to eat our cake before dinner =) (She just got to eat a cupcake though)
Then it was present time
Then we made caterpillar pizzas for the kids and stuff crust pizza for the adults.
My godfather's awesome
We then enjoyed some karaoke
Then to end the weekend a photo shoot with Aunt Jess
