My favorite...

...part of our bedtime routine

She continues to get us books until we tell her last one, the other night I think I went through ten books.  Good thing we love every minute of it.

Going Home

After dropping Lisa and I off at the airport, Josh and Bo headed to Iowa to spend some time with the Clevelands.

Josh and Bo had a great time in Iowa, I missed going down and seeing everyone, but I am so glad Josh and Bo got some time together and time with the Iowa Cleveland's.

Colorado Bound

My 6'11'' baby cousin Austin Theis got married this last weekend to the lovely Ms. Maggie Kelly.

My cousin Lisa and I flew into Denver Thursday evening, only to be picked up at the airport by her mom and dad (that had just drove from Minnesota).  They dropped me off at Tom and Charlene (my other aunt and uncles), then they headed to the hotel for the night.

Friday morning Tom and Charlene made a delicious breakfast for all of their guests.  They are such amazing people, and I am so glad to be a part of their family.
Breakfast of Champs!
Then we waited for more family to get into town, just so we could do this...
Beer me Lisa
Then we decided to go to the local candy factory Hammond's and take a tour

Then off to a pre-party for Austin and Maggie
Cousins
Then off to bed to get ready for another night of fun, and family

Sat:
We headed to the local churh bizzar, and made a little visit to the future Theis' classroom to let her know how excited we are to have her in the family. (hehehehe)

Then off to celebrate Austin & Maggie's day (they had driven up into the mountains earlier that day to have private wedding. We got to see the pictures at the reception.)

Some of my aunts and uncles (Tom, Dad, Wayne, Linda, Kathy, Paul, Kevin, Gene, Tim, & Rick)
"My Dates" Holly & Lisa
 What a great night.

Sunday:
We celebrated my aunt Charlene's 70th birthday with some Vikings football.
Notice the "Men" are watching the game.  Poor Charlene!
All in all it was a great FAMILY weekend, and I loved traveling with my cousin Lisa.  Who knew we would be such great traveling companions.

Josh and Bo headed to Iowa, which will be a whole different post.

Cuspids, eye-teeth, dog teeth, fangs, canine teeth...

aka: the worst teeth to come in so far.

It has been awhile since I wrote anything about Bo's teeth.  She has gotten some of her teeth one at a time, while others came two at a time, but her molars and eye teeth came in four at a time.  However, her teeth seem to come up and then the next day they are not there.  Some of them only took a couple of days to pop out and really stay out.  Her molars took about a week once they broke through the surface, but her eye teeth have taken over a month since I first say them appear.  She has been working on them since right after fathers day though.

These teeth have been so frustrating ALL of us.  We hear her coughing most nights and on several occasions after we have gotten up to get her she has thrown up (more like a spit up then a throw-up, but either way gross).  The good thing though is that she usually doesn't cough much during the day, and it seems mostly related to when she is laying down. I think its mainly from her swallowing her drool at night.  If this keeps up after her teeth fully come in I think we are going to get her tested to see if its something else.  She has also been very cranky lately. She has also been very clingy  with mommy, but I am not complaining.  We are very ready for her eye teeth to fully pop out and have our sweet loveable baby girl back.

Our adorable baby girl!

We love hand me downs...

I have been so lucky to be one of the last of family and friends to have babies, so hand me downs have been flowing in the last year and a half, and Bo has reaped all of the benefits.
(I guess so have we)

I'm not sure what I enjoy more being able to offer her more then we could have if not for our wonderful family and friends generosity or watching her play with the toys I watched my nieces and nephews play with.  Or seeing her in the outfits that were once worn by my rapidly growing nieces and nephews, and friends kids.  Either way we are appreciative and thankful.

Most of all I think I love watching them show her how to use her new toys
Ashland showing Bo how to swing the bat

Bo also doesn't seem to care that they have got some wear on them either.
