First weekend of Summer Vacation and Our Summer Bucket List

This last weekend we had a great time hanging out with friends and spending the whole day on Sunday together
Saturday Josh went Fishing with Olsen (Cory), then I headed North to spend some time with my cousins.  Some much needed girl time.  I was honored to be invited to hang out with them for their annual mothers day celebration.

 Sunday: We went to the local carnavel then played in the kiddy pool in the back yard, and to finish the night with a tea party

As my summer hours started I have decided to make a summer bucket list of things the girls and I can do this summer that are free or low cost. 
Day 1

• Walk through WoodLake Nature Center
• Collect leaves
• Make a leaf project
• Playing the pool in the back yard

Our Life Update

Almost a month has gone by since Josh was promoted to the lead on the second shift. He is now working four ten hour shifts, so we really don't get to see him much during the week, but it is so worth it for him to be so much happier, and having him home for an extra day on the weekends.

 

We are still trying to adjust to Josh's new schedule, it has been a little difficult because my schedule has been crazy too with wrapping up the end of the school year.

 

The girls are still trying to figure out who is going to be home when, and I have quite a few more cuddles and crocodile tears as of late. Bo has also stopped wanting to sleep in her own bed. Even when I put her in her own bed, by morning she has crawled into our bed. As summer vacation approaches the new schedule starts I am looking forward to spending more quality time with girls, and trying to come up with a more consistent routine. 

 

We are so enjoying watching our girls grow together.

 

Can't get enough of each other

This last weekend we celebrated my birthday, by going to a GALA for my work, but this time we didn't have to work it just enjoy it and hang out with some of my co-workers outside of work.

Pyper really wanted nothing to do with this picture (She was really unhappy that I took her out of grandma and grandpas camper to take a birthday picture with me)

Then Sunday we headed to a weeding shower for one of my former students that I will be her personal attendant and Bo will be her flower girl.  Bo is so excited about it.

See the bug in the car, yeah me neither.  However, Pyper would not get in the car, even after sister checked it out for her

 

So instead of riding in it she was going to ride on it.

Busy weekends make them go by so quick, but the memories are always enjoyable
