Bo Allison 3 months

It is so hard to believe that our baby girl is already 3 months old.

I'm a good 2-3 inches longer then my monkey

The celing must have been interesting

Loving the monkey

Mom stop taking my picture I'm trying to watch the Cubs game.

Already more interested in the Cubs then the camera
Bo has started to:
Grab and hold things,
Roll from tummy to back,
Recognize her name when called,
Follow objects with her eyes,
Keeping an eye on Daddy especially he Dad leaves the room,
Interact with her toys,
Recognizing Mom and Dad's voice,
Watching people's mouth move and she tries to mimic them,
The Cubs

Some of Bo's favorite things so far are:
Mirrors,
Her frog jumper,
The monkeys on her bouncer,
Cuddling with Pistol in the morning,
Make sure she has an eye on daddy at all times,
The overhead projection from her crib toy, and
MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC

Things Bo still doesn't like:
Wet diapers,
Waiting for a bottle,
Taking a break from eating to burp,
Bed time,
Music turning off,
Tummy time,
Being cold (ie. after bath time), and
The St. Louis Cardinals

Easter!

This Easter we headed to Sauk to celebrate with my side of the family.  This is the first time I have been home for Easter in 3 years, and also the first time Josh has been with us for Easter. It was a real treat to share our traditions with him and Bo.

We got a lot of visiting in and more showing off of our beautiful daughter to the people that love us.

My godparents John and Jan Murch

Great Grandma Warner

Sophia and Bo
We enjoyed our traditional Easter egg hunt too.
I think Bo enjoyed watching her cousins looking for the eggs.
Bo in her "first Easter" bunny outfit.  (she was holding the basket all by herself)

Where are all the eggs?

Trying to get a pic of the "Minnesota" grandkids, Bo was not cooperating

So I had to hold her.
I can't wait until she is old enough to enjoy this, and when we can get all of the Theis' cousins together for a group picture.

Born a Cubs FAN!

Thanks Dean!
We love it

BrEaKiNg NEWS!

Bo does not like tummy time, she is usually fine for the first few second then she starts to scream.  Therefore, I have not had her spend a lot of time on her tummy.  I really think it might actually hurt her to be on her tummy due to her herniated bellybutton, so I think this helped her desire to rollover.  According to grandma, she has been working on this for a couple of days, so it was so exciting that I got to see her do it for the first time ever.  Therefore, I called Josh upstairs and we tried it again, this time I got it on film.

Then we wanted to see if she would keep doing it, so we headed downstairs to enjoy a little family time, and watch our daughters practice her new moves!

It's hard to watch her screaming, and not want to pick her up, but it is worth it to see her roll.

Wrigley!

Wrigley has really not wanted anything to do with Bo since she came home from the hospital, but receiently she has been getting a little braver.

Well maybe...not.

Busy weekend!

We had a very busy, but awesome weekend.

Friday afternoon Josh, Bo and I headed to the Convention center to see Alania play volleyball.
Bo had to let those Cyclone fans know who she plans to cheer for.

I promised Great Aunt Christine I wouldn't post a pic. of her on the blog, but I couldn't resist this pic.

Meeting Alaina

Saturday we got up early and started to prepare out house for our house warming party.  We had a great turn out, and I forgot to take pictures.  Thanks everyone for coming, and enjoying our new home with us.

Sunday was a beautiful day out so we enjoyed the outdoor while Josh put up a "Pistol sized" fence.

Bo enjoying the weather with Grandma Theis

Josh hard at work on our 2 foot fence.

After enjoying the beautiful weather my mom and I headed to JoAnn Fabrics to get material to make blackout curtains for Bo's room.

After all of that exciting weekend Bo was a little tired.

Catch-up time

I feel like I haven't posted in forever about what we have been up to.

Josh enjoyed his birthday playing with his baby girl and his new video game "The Show 2011" with his brothers.  My mom made him dinner and a chocolate cake, because I had to work until 8.  However, they waited for me to get home so we could enjoy his cake together.
Happy Birthday Honey, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Josh really didn't want to share his cake.  LOL

We have been really busy with me going back to work and trying to get adjusted to my new schedule.  We have slowly started to figure out how to spend quality time together, as a family, and with friends.  Josh has enjoyed spending one-on-one time with Bo when he get home from work, they often sort his baseball cards together in the basement until I get home.  I love coming home to them and seeing my little girl smile at me.  I think she might just be smilling because she knows I have the food source, but I will take it all the same.  We have been trying to take walks together after dinner, it has been great way to spend some quaility time together and get to know our new neighborhood too.

Our baby girl is growing like a weed, and getting stronger everyday.  We love watching her grow, and start to develop her personality.
I will leave you with pictures and videos to catch you up on our life.

Time with Grandpa Theis

The Dr. Berry confirmed that Bo indeed has a herniated belly button, but he told me know to worry about it, and it will heal on it's own.

Bo also got all of her 2 month vaccines; three were shots and one was oral. The shots made her VERY angry, but she stopped crying as soon as I picked her up.  She has been a little fussy, tired, and not very hungry ever since, so all she really wants is mommy to hold her (which I will not complain about).

My dad came down this morning to spend some time with Bo before he brought my mom back home for the weekend.  Grandpa got her to fall asleep before I got home from work, but she needed to eat before we went to her doctor appointment, so for your viewing pleasure I am adding a video of Grandpa Theis trying to feed Bo, and wake her up.  (Check out the new blanket Grandpa Theis got her at a charity auction)
