So Sunday the 23rd, well I should start this out the week before since the opening playoff game vs. Seattle. Bo was getting pretty excited so we went the hospital thinking this was it. PAUSE... NOT She was just excited about the Bears opening round playoff game. She must have known that her "godfather" was out of town and that the Bears were going to play again a week later. THAT WEEK... I was on PINS and NEEDLES! BO when you come out your grounded!
It was a very sleepless week ahead. Then came Sunday the 23rd the Bears played the Packers at 2:00pm and Nieps came over to watch the game. Bo you can wait until after the game now and she did. She must have been upset about Jay Catler's performance during the game because no more then ten min after she was very active in Momma's belly. Chrissy was contracting the rest of the night but it was very irregular, like three minutes apart then 15 minutes apart. So, I went to bed, and between 2:00-3:00am Chrissy woke me up because she was contracting every three minutes.
Time to go to the hospital!
We got to the hospital around 3:30am Monday morning. Chrissy's blood pressure was up and we were their to stay...and stay...anytime Bo. About 36 hours later she was out... But first about two hours before pushing, five McDonald quarter pounders, and hard contractions later. Chrissy started feeling nauseous so I got her a bed pan and she got sick which got me sick we were both pucking, and the nurse said "what a couple". When I came back from the bathroom the midwife asked me if I was going to be able to cut the cord, "yeah right"! Not with my weak stomach.
Now to my favorite part of the story. Just before it was time to push out little Bo they brought in a couple more nurses to help. The midwife introduced the nurses and said this is Bobbi and she will be helping with the delivery. I couldn't believe it! So Bobbi was their to deliver Bo into the world. I was so HAPPY, it was like an angel in the room.
Chrissy was so strong and I was so proud of her. I was there holding her one leg and looking the other way while she was pushing. The midwife kept on saying oh here comes the head, I see the head, so I couldn't help but look. Once I saw my little girls head, I told the ladies' "I'm cutting the cord"!

| My baby Girl |
I've never knew I could love someone so much or so quickly as my little girl Bo.
I love you Bo and and so excited about guiding you through your life.
There will be a lot of Cubs wins and Cubs loses, but we will get through them together as a family.
Can't wait to see what our life has in store for us.
Love you, Daddy
