We have been so behind on updating things about Bo, she has defiantly been keeping us on our toes. She is in to everything lately, and we have been trying to capture most of those moments. So we thought it best if we just dump all the video's so you can see for yourself.
We have this ball machine, that Bo just loves. She tries to catch all the balls, but is not successful. However, that doesn't stop her from continuing to try.
We have been practicing walking, you can see by this video that she has gotten progressively better since the we started practicing 3 weeks ago.
Pistol has been waiting for this day since the day we brought Bo home from the hospital.
Bo has finally figured out how to give Pistol the ball, so adorable.
A couple weekends ago we got to spend some quality time with Jamie, Emily, Avery, and some other people at their house. It is just so fun watching Avery and Bo playing together even if Bo is just sitting there enjoying Avery's great personality. If you listen closely about half way through Avery is talking about how she danced at the wedding, and she was flower girl then she giggles. Too cute!
When we decided we wanted to get pregnant we wonder about whether or not our pets would be able to continue to be a part of our life.
Then I remembered how wonderful they are with our nieces and nephews and how great they was when Owen was here. Pistol even started to get protective of Owen when other dogs would come to close to Owen.
I know that we are those weird people that call their pets their kids, but to us they have been like our children for more then 2 years. We have learned so much from them and from each other because of them.
We have learned:
Cleaning up poop and How to change litter and still make your house smell good
Feeding on a regular schedule or you don't hear the end of it
Unconditional love
That not everyone likes pets as much as we do
How sad they are when you leave, but how happy they are when you walk through the door.
Being scared and worried when the big dog starts to be a bullyDealing with the vet even in an emergency
Realizing that good friends are hard to find
How to celebrate Halloween
Packing for more then yourself
How to compromise on rules
Figuring out their favorite toy, and how to share it
How to relax
I know that there has been so many more things that we have learned from our pets, but all I know is we don't know what we would do without them.
However, the number one thing that we learned is that we are a good team, and can't wait for our little one to come. We also can't wait to watch the interactions our pets and children will have.
